There’s a thread you follow. It goes among things that change.
But it doesn’t change.

The 2023 Autumnal Equinox Sunrise Walk is Friday, September 22
This morning walk occurs when the light of the day equals the darkness of the night throughout the world. This time of year the harvest has come, leaves are falling and the last summer heat filters through some days. The night might be getting colder.
At this time the earth is in the middle cycle of its rotation around the sun. This moment of Equinox can be seen as a very balancing time. We have a docent from the Robert Ferguson Observatory, who will speak on the Autumnal Equinox.
The weather can be variable at sunrise. Please wear clothing that will keep you warm, dry, and comfortable. We suggest wearing a good pair of walking shoes and bringing water if you like to hydrate on walks. This walk is for you! Whatever this walk unfolds for you, we encourage it. Your path is respected.
You are welcome to submit your photos, readings, and poetry for publication on this site. Please fill out our contact form and submit your content here.
