Winter Solstice Sunset Walk
December 21 @ 4:30PM
St Stephen’s Episcopal Church – 500 Robinson Rd, Sebastopol, CA
Are you looking for a quiet place where you can reset your inner compass that will nourish you through this season and into the new year? Notan will be guiding us with enchanting music!
The cold weather, the frost in the morning, gatherings, unexpected meetings throughout your day…so much is going on during this season. We can easily get overwhelmed by life, by events, and emotions.
Whatever it is that you are carrying, feeling, juggling right now in your life, walking the labyrinth is a beautiful way to settle in, reset and find the gift of this season.
On December 21st, as the sun sets, we enter the longest night of the year.
The Winter Solstice is an opportunity for prayer to set intentions and receive messages. The Celtic tradition calls the changing of the seasons a “thin place”. According to Celtic tradition a “thin place” can be found in different land sites and also at different times of the year where the seasons change and the veil between this world and another become thin.
Come as you are. All are welcome as we walk together.
I hope you come with us to walk on the Winter Solstice Sunset Walk, Wednesday, December 21stat 4:30 pm, at St Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Robinson Rd.
I look forward to honoring this day and this season with you all,
Liza
