This is a unique time for the gentle activity of walking and listening to how the earth speaks to you. Please join us for the Winter Solstice Sunrise Walks and let your feet touch the earth, your heart touch the new morning and find inspiration. This year we are delighted to announce special guests on two different days:
- Sunday, Dec 20th: Internationally certified tracker Jim Sullivan will speak for a short time on Animal Tracking and Bird Language.
- Monday, Dec 21st: Kate Munger with the Threshold Choir will lead the group in community singing.
Where & When Do the Sunrise Walkers Meet?
The upcoming Winter Solstice Sunrise Walk is at the Laguna de Santa Rosa for three mornings: December 19 – 21, 2015. We will begin our early morning walk just before dawn and meet at 6:45 AM at the trailhead just before the Chevron gas station, at the Highway 12 entrance. We will leave promptly. This two mile walk will take us to the pond and back.
We would be honored to have you with us on one, a couple or all three mornings.
